Giveaway Terms & Conditions

1. The Promoter

The Promoter is the National Indian Students & Alumni Union UK (NISAU), a not-for-profit organisation based in the United Kingdom. Correspondence: info@nisau.com.

2. Eligibility

• Entrants must be aged 18 or over at the date of entry.
• Entrants must be resident in the United Kingdom.
• Each person may enter only once. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.
• Entries generated by bots, scripts, automated means, bulk-entry services, false identities, or incomplete or incorrect information may be disqualified.

3. Promotion Period

Different giveaways have varied promotional periods. All giveaways open on the date of publication and close at 23:59 BST on 30 May 2026, with some closing sooner. Entries received after the applicable closing time will not be accepted.

4. How to enter

To enter, complete the entry form at unitycup.nisau.com. All required fields must be completed and submitted before the applicable closing time. No purchase is necessary. Entry is free.

5. The prizes

The Promotion comprises five (5) prize categories:

• Match tickets: ten (10) tickets in total to the India v Jamaica fixture on 27 May 2026. Five (5) winners will be drawn, and each winner will receive two (2) tickets, subject to availability and seating allocation determined by NISAU.
• Signed India shirts: three (3) official India shirts, each signed by members of the national squad. Three (3) winners will be drawn, each receiving one (1) signed shirt.
• Signed footballs: three (3) match-quality footballs, each signed by members of the national squad. Three (3) winners will be drawn, each receiving one (1) signed football.
• Train with the team: five (5) places at an India squad training session at The Valley, London, on 26 May 2026.
• Ambassador programme: selection into the NISAU x Unity Cup Ambassador Programme is governed by separate Ambassador terms.

Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No cash alternative will be offered. NISAU reserves the right to substitute any prize for one of equal or greater value if circumstances require.

6. Prize conditions

The training-session prize is subject to venue, team, safeguarding, security and health and safety requirements. Winners may be required to follow reasonable instructions, provide ID, wear appropriate footwear and clothing, and refrain from conduct that may endanger themselves or others.

Ticket prizes are subject to Unity Cup, venue, and ticketing-provider terms and conditions.

Unless expressly stated, prizes do not include travel, accommodation, food, insurance, visas, parking, or any other costs.

Ambassador Programme terms apply separately.

7. Selection of winners

Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries after the applicable closing time. The draw will be supervised by NISAU. The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. Notification of winners

Winners will be notified by email and WhatsApp using the contact details provided at entry, within seven (7) days of the applicable closing time. If a winner cannot be contacted, or does not claim the prize within fourteen (14) days of notification, NISAU reserves the right to withdraw the prize and draw a replacement winner.

9. Use of personal data

Personal data submitted as part of the Promotion will be processed in accordance with the NISAU privacy policy. By entering, you consent to NISAU contacting you about the Promotion and, where you have separately consented, about NISAU activities more broadly.

10. Publicity

NISAU may use a winner’s name or image for publicity. By entering this giveaway you are consenting to your name and images being used by NISAU, the Unity Cup and any other partners as per the sole discretion of NISAU.

11. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits NISAU’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of statutory rights, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to the above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, NISAU shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, expense, injury, disappointment, inconvenience, or other claim suffered by any entrant, winner, guest, or attendee arising out of or in connection with the Promotion, participation in the Promotion, attendance at any event, or acceptance, use, misuse, non-use, cancellation, postponement, substitution, or unavailability of any prize.

NISAU shall not be responsible for any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental losses, or for any loss of income, loss of opportunity, loss of enjoyment, travel costs, accommodation costs, food and drink costs, insurance costs, parking costs, visa costs, or any other personal expenses, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

All event, ticket, venue, and training-related prizes are subject to applicable event organiser, venue, ticketing provider, security, safeguarding, and health-and-safety rules. NISAU shall not be liable for any act, omission, cancellation, postponement, relocation, refusal of entry, change to seating, change to schedule, change to team availability, or other decision made by any third party, except where NISAU is legally responsible for that matter.

Winners and guests attend events and, where applicable, participate in any training-session prize at their own risk and are responsible for ensuring that they are fit and able to participate. NISAU may refuse, suspend, or end participation where reasonably necessary for safety, security, safeguarding, operational, or legal reasons.

NISAU shall not be liable where a prize cannot be delivered or a winner cannot be contacted due to incorrect, incomplete, or outdated details provided by an entrant, failure to check email, phone, WhatsApp, spam, or junk folders, or failure to respond within the stated claim period.

Nothing in these Terms affects an entrant’s statutory rights.

12. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. NISAU reserves the right to amend these Terms or cancel the Promotion at any time, where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Any such changes will be published at this URL.
